01 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

ClearAd offers a full 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Enterprise). If you are not completely satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of your first payment date for that subscription.

This guarantee applies when:

  • You are within 30 calendar days of your first payment for the current plan;
  • This is your first refund request (one per customer);
  • Your account has not been suspended for Terms of Service violations.

02 Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, you may also be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement where a service:

  • Has a major failure that cannot be remedied within a reasonable time;
  • Does not match its description or is not fit for its advertised purpose;
  • Is not provided with due care and skill.

These statutory rights are in addition to our 30-day guarantee and cannot be limited or excluded by contract. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected] or your State/Territory consumer protection agency.

03 How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund, please follow these steps:

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and confirm eligibility.

Eligible refunds are processed by Paddle within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

05 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances (except where required by ACL statutory guarantees):

  • Refund request is made after the 30-day guarantee window has expired;
  • A refund has already been issued for a previous subscription to the same plan;
  • Account was suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service;
  • Subscription was obtained through a promotional offer that explicitly excluded refund eligibility;
  • A chargeback or payment dispute has been initiated through your bank or card issuer;
  • Free plan usage — no charges apply.

07 Payment Processing by Paddle

All payment transactions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record for ClearAd subscriptions. This means:

  • Your payment receipt will show "PADDLE.NET* ADGUARDAU" on your bank statement;
  • Refunds are issued by Paddle directly to your original payment method;
  • For technical payment issues, you may also contact Paddle Support at paddle.com;
  • Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal.

ClearAd does not store your full card details. All card data is handled securely by Paddle under PCI DSS Level 1 compliance.

08 Currency & GST

All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate of 10% (A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999).

Refunds will be processed in AUD to your original payment method. ClearAd is not responsible for any foreign exchange fees or variances charged by your bank or card issuer.

A GST invoice will be provided for all subscription payments upon request — email [email protected].

09 Dispute Resolution

If your refund request is denied and you believe this is in error, you may:

  1. Reply to our refund decision email requesting escalation to our senior support team;
  2. If still unresolved, contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) at accc.gov.au;
  3. Contact your State or Territory Consumer Protection Agency (e.g., NSW Fair Trading, Consumer Affairs Victoria);
  4. For disputes involving digital goods, you may file a claim with the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) or equivalent in your State/Territory.

10 Policy Changes

We reserve the right to amend this Refund Policy. Changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect. The policy applicable to your subscription is the version in force at the time of your purchase.
